NT Government says Beetaloo results will increase ‘economic activity’ in the NT by $17B

The Lawler Government has said promising initial testing of gas deposits in the Beetaloo Sub-basin by Tamboran Resources will see “economic activity” in the NT increase by more than $17 billion once realised, as part of a “new economic era for the NT”, while critics said the government should not be spruiking private gas interests ahead of final approvals being made.
