Sites for three of the four proposed residential youth justice facilities in Darwin, Tennant Creek, and Alice Springs have been selected, with a fourth facility being planned for the Katherine region, the Chief Minister said, while also announcing the people who will lead the government’s Youth Justice Review.

Eva Lawler said the Darwin facility will be located at Yirra House, with the Alice Springs facility at Gap Road. At the same time, the Juno Centre in Tennant Creek will serve as a temporary facility while a permanent structure is being constructed.
