Mandorah jetty has been in use outside of federal laws and standards that it does not meet. Louise McCormick has been the person at DIPL overseeing the upgraded ferry terminal and maintenance of the existing jetty. She has achieved nothing and now heads DIPL after being ship lift commissioner. I wouldn’t expect DIPL under her or Lawler to start kicking goals any time soon. Public safety is just a can that this pair keep kicking down the road.
Public Servants can happily kick the can down the road, until they meet a Coroner in a Inquest.
