Judge dismisses Singleton Station water licence legal challenge

A Supreme Court judge has dismissed a challenge over the legality of a minister granting a 40,000 megalitre water licence to Fortune Agribusiness for the remote Singleton Station, finding in part that the Territory Families Minister who made the decision in place of the Environment Minister, was able to give reasonable and rational consideration to the matter in the four days she took to make the decision.
