Could someone explain how Armitage gets to decide whether she herself is biased/ unbiased and if she should recuse herself. How can the outcome be anything but biased if she alone makes the ruling?
Sounds like another person in power that cannot see anything wrong with her own opinions. This should not have been left for her alone to decide. They spent months investigating the character of junior police and not the senior decisions that allowed the whole disaster to evolve. It seems that the whole show was a chance for a departed police commissioner to throw one person under a bus while promoting those that were complicit in his actions.
