Territory bus drivers employed by private operator CDC have started protected industrial action drawing attention to increasing incidents of assaults, rock throwing, and other threats workers face, as part of their demands for better pay and working conditions, which comes one year to the day since a driver was kicked in the head while driving 70km/h down the Stuart Highway.
