A 60-year-old man has been arrested for alleged historical child sexual offences that occurred in Fannie Bay between 2002 and 2007, NT Police said.
The NT Police’s Sex Crimes Unit was made aware of the allegations after the alleged abuse was reported to Queensland Police in 2023.
The 60-year-old alleged offender was arrested at an address in Berry Springs on Wednesday morning, around 7:20am, police said.

The man has been charged with two counts of exposing a child to an indecent act; one charge of indecent dealings with a child under 16; one charge of supplying a dangerous drug; and one charge of assaulting a person indecently.
He was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court on Thursday.
Under NT law, alleged sex offenders cannot be named publicly until committed for trial.
