A water, light and sound show will be held at the Darwin Waterfront lagoon, accompanied by free shows and performances, from late November until New Year’s Eve, the precinct’s management has said.
Darwin Waterfront Corporation chair Dr Richard Fejo said in a statement, the Australian company Oracle Liquid’s show called Liquid light, would use laser projection, water fountains, flames, and animations programmed to sound.
“Liquid light is a high energy production that will be a unique, first ever experience for Darwin, and will provide multiple opportunities for visitors and locals to visit the waterfront have dinner and enjoy a world class show,” Dr Fejo said.
He said the show would run from November 25 to the end of the year, and would be accompanied by free shows, starting with the Saltwater spectacular which would run three times a night from November 25, until December 10.
A second show, Christmas cascades, will run from December 14 until the fireworks display concludes the exhibit on New Year’s Eve.
