Two men are in Katherine Hospital after being stabbed during a Thursday night home invasion, with one of the men suffering “stab wounds to his chest”, NT Police said.

Police said in a statement that two adult males, who were not known to the occupants of the home, reportedly entered a Katherine South residence around 10:30pm and “assaulted two male victims with edged weapons” before stealing alcohol and fleeing on foot.
