A 12-year-old and two 13-year-olds who were on bail were caught allegedly attempting to ram police cars in a stolen car in Darwin overnight, a senior member of Strike Force Trident has said, adding that the latest incident comes amid an emerging trend of kids driving stolen cars at police vehicles in Darwin and young offenders becoming more violent.
The latest incident of kids allegedly driving at police cars follows an incident last week, where police said a man who was trying to clear a Muirhead street of a bicycle “strategically placed” as an obstacle by four alleged youth offenders aged as young as 11 who had just crashed a stolen vehicle, was threatened with a machete by the group, who then stole his car and drove off before crashing it.
No wonder the cops let off steam at their Xmas party when they continually deal with this sort of scum
