So you go to work each day. You’re job is to face the toughest crime issues in the Territory and the hardest criminals. With an approximate average of 31% aboriginals in the NT, these ‘Protectors’ face more than 90% of aboriginal offenders in their day to day. It is considered ‘racist’ if you identify the facts or statistics that one particular race (a privileged minority) is responsible for the majority of anti-social and violent crimes in the NT.
You then go home to forget that your duties, as protectors, was predominantly focused on a certain group, who can not be identified because it would be considered a racist perception.
You are however, supported by a limp hierarchy in Government who are so scared to do anything more wrong that they don’t do anything at all, forgive me, another review should make everyone happy.
FASD is not an excuse for violent and anti-social crime, it is an almost exclusively aboriginal issue which continues and increases.
Solutions to this disorder (which is very real) need to come from Elders, not Governments that don’t seem to understand that our indigenous are still brought up with a ‘Warrior’ mindset. It is their culture. Our PC bullshit has convinced them that we are ‘invaders’, that we have no right to be here and we (immigrants) are the enemy.
Until people like Jacinta and Warren are listened to and we become one country with diverse cultures, these intrusions by aboriginals will continue. The police have no option but to try to protect the targets of this aggression.
New and different strategies need to be brought into place here and THC should be considered as an alternative to alcohol and meth as well as other other ‘aggressive’ substances, should be considered, but not street weed, pure unadulterated THC.
You might find that it can be affective. It has been for me and many associates and for peoples over thousands of years and it is vegan.
