The search for 30-year-old Angie Fuller in Central Australia continues after she was reported missing early last week, Territory Police said.

Acting Superintendent Rob Engels said Ms Fuller was last seen last Monday night, on the Tanami Rd, 15km west of the Stuart Hwy intersection.

“Police are urging motorists, who were travelling along the Tanami Road, between 10pm on January 9, until 9am the following day, to contact us,” he said.

On Sunday he told the ABC they had searched 240 square km of land looking for her.

“We believe Ms Fuller is alive. There are certainly water sources in the area that she can access,” he was quoted as saying.

“Our experts to date tell us it is survivable at this time.”

Supt Engels described Ms Fuller as of Asian appearance, about 165cm tall, with a medium build and long black hair accented by purple streaks, and he said she was last seen wearing a black Nike singlet and a cream skirt.

Police are urging anyone with any information to phone police on 131 444 or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
