Honourable Boof, theirs a new whiny voiced Sherif in town for over a year!
The New Sherif made a series of comments and pledges before and during the election campaign about dodgy dealings she saw in the ALP Labour camp.
And the new sheriff’s fabulous husband works with the star of the article and is the manager of the tax payer & rate payer funded grounds that this is all occurring on.
Dunno bout you Boof, but am sick of the elite getting away with stuff while indigenous are being rightly incarcerated for crimes, but at record levels. If I tried a stunt a fraction in size of the Waterfront disaster, I would be on the front page of the Bought Off NT News and have a starring role on the Labour run ABC 730 report and quite possibly would be accommodated at The Kings Pleasure, in the quiet suburb of Holtze!

Alastair has become the current Poster Boy for all the things wrong with the current political set up here in the NT.

In his little NT TICKdom there doesn’t seem to be many others close to his feeding size and yet he celebrates his gorging, unbowed and unabashed.
Why does he do this? Because, without any personal feeling of shame, he recognises that there are no consequences; to the contrary, he was not only appointed to multiple part time jobs over the years by the ALP half of the CLPALP Alliance but here he continues to flaunt his feasted-on financial gains in ABC interviews, Four Corners, on Facebook and beyond thanks to the CLP half of the Alliance, the half he helped immensely and directly by giving all that job/money to Sam Burke and his wife.
The CLP half of the CLPALP Alliance permits him continue to suck the NT public purse dry, we think because in secret they are envious of him and the public service power he has amassed.

If you really want to Change For Better this cycle then you have to let go of the idea that the red ALP half of the Alliance is actually fundamentally different to the brown/orange CLP half of the Alliance.

Given the damage the ALP has done to the NT by taking $1.6 Billion CLP debt to $14 billion debt which will never be repaid in out lifetimes, the knee jerk Gas moratorium leaving the Territory scrambling for gas and paying a unknown amount for gas by the former treasurers current employer, the ALP can never be voted for again. Its tantamount to suicide.
Given the documented yet unbelievably absurd performance of the CLP in its first 13 months, the CLP will be relegated to history in 2028. What a example of disgusting corruption and world class incompetence in politics! Voting for the CLP is economic suicide for the Territory. The CLP cannot cut a damn expenditure and are heading to a estimated $17 billion debt! This administration will be known as the greatest incompetents with personal tax payer funded photographers in political history. If the current CLP MLA’s had any brains and could envisage their future interactions with Territorians, they would be resigning in attempt to protect their reputations. Given the importance of the mining and gas industry of the NT, the Greens will never be a option to make long term economic decisions for the NT.
