UPDATED: NT Police have charged three women who allegedly bashed another woman in the head and snatched her bag at Casuarina Square on Friday afternoon.

Authorities had released the images of the offenders captured on nearby CCTV in an effort to identify them.

Police said the victim, a 44-year-old woman, was approached by the three offenders around 1pm on Friday in the underground car park at Casuarina Square.

The females allegedly assaulted the woman before stealing her bag, police said.

The victim sustained multiple injuries to her face, head, and hand. Police said the injuries were non-life threatening.

On Tuesday, police said the three women, aged 22, 27, and 31 were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.

The 31-year-old and the 27-year-old were both bailed to appear in court later this month.

The 22-year-old was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
