Another taxi driver has allegedly been robbed by a group of males with an “edged weapon”, NT Police said.

Police are calling for witnesses to the incident that occurred at around 1:30 am Wednesday morning at a fuel station on Daly Street in the CBD.

“We’re particularly interested in speaking with the occupants of a white sedan seen at the service station just before this incident occurred; we believe this vehicle may have been approached by the same group of offenders,” Detective Senior Constable Jennifer Sharma said in a statement.

Anyone with information is urged to contact 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, quoting reference number 9470961.
