A man was allegedly hit in the face, threatened with a knife and robbed while stopped on his e-scooter to make a phone call near Casuarina Beach early Monday morning, NT Police said.

Police director of communications Mark Wilton said the victim had been riding the scooter just before 2am when he stopped near the Trower Road access point at the end of Casuarina Beach Service Road to use his phone.
