NT Police Commissioner Michael Murphy has attempted to quell calls for a public inquiry into allegations a senior detective perverted the course of justice in the Zach Rolfe murder investigation by referring the matter to Victoria Police for review.
Mr Murphy told The Australian on Friday that the complaint filed by Mr Rolfe’s lawyer against Detective Senior Sergeant Wayne Newell will be handled by Victoria Police.
