The Fyles Government has re-announced a ‘sister province agreement’ it has signed with the West Nusa Tenggara provincial government in Indonesia that it says will increase “economic cooperation” and diversify trade between the NT and Indonesia.
The government first spruiked their intent to sign the sister province agreement in March 2022 as part of its COVID-19 “rebuild” strategy, but said on Monday that it was now a Memorandum of Understanding that would “lead to better outcomes in training, tourism and biosecurity for both jurisdictions”.
