In the last week the NT Government has awarded 30 contracts to a total value of over $6.2 million including one for $884,000 to replace a ladder at Fisherman’s Wharf in Darwin and one for $29,000 to upgrade the judges’ bathrooms in Alice Spring Local Court. See the full list here.
Of these, 27 contracts worth $5.8 million, were awarded to Northern Territory businesses, and three contracts worth $443,000 were awarded to non-local businesses.
Another notable contract was $526,000 for work zone traffic management and road safety auditors for 12 months along NT Government roads, that was split between eight different businesses.
The largest awarded contract was $1.58 million to Niccon NT for the repair and maintenance of historic buildings and new landscaping in the Hermannsburg historic precinct. The smallest was $9,500 to Guardian Offshore Australia for the provision and deployment of Bombora artificial reefs.
