The NT Government awarded 25 tenders to a total value of over $5 million in the last week, including a $1 million contract to supply and install furniture in the Katherine Government Centre and a $1.4 million contract to design and construct a new accommodation building at the Seven Emu Station.
Another interesting contract was $26,000 to James Cook University to provide research on tropical oyster reproductive conditioning.
In total, 17 contracts worth $4.4 million were awarded to NT based businesses, and eight contracts worth $632,000 went to non-local businesses.
The largest awarded contract was $1.4 million to Cairns Industries to design and construct a new accommodation facility at the Seven Emu Station. The smallest was $19,000 to Nintex to supply Nintex workflow enterprise software for a period of 12 months.
