The NT Government awarded 24 tenders to a total value of a staggering $103 million in the last week, including $55 million to Halikos Group for the new youth justice centre.
Other large contracts awarded this week include $22 million C & R Construction to design, document and construct the new Palmerston fire station, and $13 million to Ashbuild NT to redevelop the youth detention centre in Alice Springs.
In total, 22 contracts worth $102 million went to NT based businesses, and two contracts worth $133,000 went to non-local businesses.
