   ~And you all thought it was just Alastair Shields From The Public who didn’t like people seeing his secret registers and lists of obvious conflicts.

   ~This is a CLParty-wide policy: to hide things from the public.

   ~And if they’re loving hiding this basic information, just think what other information they’re hiding from us all too.

   ‘Ms Davis then asked if Ms Townsend, as chief executive, provided “any advice or recommendations” in relation to the water plan.

   “No,” Ms Townsend responded.

   She later admitted signing the ministerial briefing and claimed that the document, that specifically states the Minister “sign the instrument to declare the Mataranka Water Allocation Plan 2024-2034”, including referencing the Larrimah project, was merely recommendations from the department that she runs and from a committee struck to look at the allocation plan.

   But she said in a statement later on Friday that she had “misunderstood the question” from Ms Davis.’

   ~So much to unpack there. We’ll try to keep this one short.

   ~First: the word ‘recommendations’ was in the question, Dummy.

   ~You then replied with that same word ‘recommendations’ in the answer, Dummy.

   ~You’re giving Marie-Clare Boothby a run for her ‘don’t understand beginner level English’ money there Jo.

   ~Sounds to me a) you know what the word ‘recommendations’ means and b) you understood the question when you answered it.

   ~If you still cling to the idea that you “misunderstood the question” then you should not be working anywhere they use basic English as part of their job description. Maybe try retraining for serving coffee or being a cleaner where your skillset would have more value.

   ~Now, if every other MLA is not publicly screaming for ALL registers to be made public then you are all complicit in your silence in making sure the public is not served by these LiaRs and Cheats and Charlatans.

   ~As an functioning adult who speaks English, there was no reason for you to have misunderstood the question actually. LiaRs have heaps of reasons for why they feel they need to lie to others.

   ~Yet again, this whole group of imposters are taking the piss out of all other MLAs and voters and families.

   ~Selena Stays Silent on this matter because it suits her party when they get into power.

   ~This Crappy Little Party in power right now want more secrecy and less intrusion into their friendships and personal relationships because the more secretive they are, the more money they can divert to friends and family and suck out of the system without annoying media or members of the public questioning what’s happening to their tax dollars.

   ‘Estimates committee chair and CLP backbencher Clinton Howe then moved the hearing on to discuss other matters.’

   ~Exactly as he did with the Pantomime Accounts Committee on the DWC so his boss’s husband escaped proper scrutiny.

   ~Seeing as the ALP will not agitate for Change in this regard, the only solution is to Change the Game.

   ~Change the way the Pantomime Accounts Committee is staffed to make it much more representative.

   ~Suggestion: Change the Chair at Estimates: have a rotating Chair like they do at the UN Security Council for example so that the Governing Party does not get to exert partisan control over it repeatedly as Clinton Howe is learning to do:

   ‘The presidency of the United Nations Security Council is responsible for leading the United Nations Security Council. It rotates among the fifteen member-states of the council monthly.’

   ~The ALP doesn’t have a clue how to suggest changes like this, they are completely empty headed when it comes to Changing these Games for the betterment of the public and therefore the betterment of Governance.

   ~Or they love it the way it is. They are so used to accepting the Rules of a Rigged Game, because it suits them when they’re in power, that they are as useless and corrupt as the CLP are.

   ~This is the level of people we have entrusted to run our Government, and by default our lives, using Billions of dollars of our hard earned tax payer money.

   ~A Chief Executive who admits in public she doesn’t understand the word ‘recommendations’ and a Minister who spews out garbage like this:

   ‘the conflicts register in his department could not be publicly released because “there are people, unfortunately, who are sick individuals in the community and might use that information to then target members of Parliament”, by somehow “working out our weekly schedule” and “where our children do swimming classes”.’

   ~If it wasn’t so upsetting it might be funny.

   ~They want to keep information hidden because there is a lot worse in there.

   ~We need politicians who will thoroughly deliver on transparency not keep putting up with being force fed these shit sandwiches over and over again.

     You still haven’t figured out that the whole object here is to destroy any chance of Aboriginals getting jobs in their own area. Now why isn’t Chris reporting on this closing the gap group holiday going on in Darwin, all so called indigenous and no Aborigines.

   Is it me or do the Ministers and Bureaucrats say whatever they want in estimates and no media organization ever picks up the mistakes????
