Two interstate high-risk work assessors brought to the NT to train an undisclosed number of employees at different companies were not accredited under NT law, NT WorkSafe has revealed, urging all businesses and workers to thoroughly verify the accreditation of assessors before investing in high-risk training.
The warning was issued after WorkSafe found that two interstate assessors were providing training in the NT without the necessary accreditation, a breach of Regulation 113 of the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011.
This is just more Government red tape, a trainer accredited in any state should be recognized in all states and territories.
