EXCLUSIVE: The NT’s anti-corruption commissioner has defended hiring a CLP executive member to oversee reports to his office, after Commissioner Michael Riches first indicated he was not aware of his new investigator’s political ties, the NT Independent can reveal.
CLP executive management committee member and party campaigner Cormac MacCarthy recently resigned from his roles with the party, documents show, to take employment as an investigator with the Office of the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption.

If he was the best person for the job then there is nothing to see. The government has done enough dirty business to be worried. This will free up other investigators to deal with government dirt.
WOW! When your tainted nobody can forget!
Has anyone dealt with ICAC and found them to be
(a) very helpful in encouraging you to not waste their time?
(b) full of shit!
(c) uninterested in lifting a finger!
(d) a dysfunctional government department that has accomplished zero with their multimillion doller budget?
