Three youths have been arrested for allegedly assaulting a security guard at Casuarina Square on Monday afternoon, while using hammers to smash the centre’s security offices, with police calling for the public’s assistance to identify other youths involved in the incident.

Police said in a statement that they received a report of a group causing a disturbance at the shopping centre around 4:45pm Monday. While security attended the incident, “a number of youth have allegedly assaulted the worker, kicking him and spitting in his face”, police said.
