The Lawler Government will not appeal a full bench of the Fair Work Commission decision that it stole firefighter’s overtime with Public Employment Minister Selena Uibo telling Estimates hearings last week the government was still working out how many firefighters are affected and admitted it may offer payments for only part of the hours owed.

Fair Work Commissioner Bernie Riordan said in his recent decision that the government should be paying back more than just the value of the total hours owed.
