A fire broke out at Inpex’s Darwin LNG facility on Monday, the company has confirmed, but it said no one was harmed and “there has been no impact on the environment”.
It’s the latest in a string of bad public relations announcements for the Japanese-based gas giant, that reported last month it had under calculated toxic emissions reported to the NT Environment Protection Authority over many years and was also involved in an oil leak at the Bladin Point Ichthys facility.
