The new Casuarina pool will be open in the middle of the year, Darwin Council Lord Mayor Kon Vatskalis has said.

The $26.9 million redevelopment includes an 8-lane, 50-metre pool and a resort-style lagoon pool, along with a temperature-controlled six-lane 25-metre learn-to-swim pool, café and BBQ facilities, wet and dry play areas, basketball half-court, and a swimming club and community room.
