EV purchases in the Territory remain nearly flat as ownership across the country surges
Electric vehicle purchases in the Territory rose by a modest one per cent compared to other states in the country, where EV purchases nearly doubled from 44,000 to almost 83,000 in 2022, with 20,000 of those made by Tesla.

CSIRO Beetaloo basin carbon offsets report suggest carbon capture, international offsets
A new partly gas-industry funded CSIRO report says carbon produced from Beetaloo basin fracking could potentially be offset by carbon capture and storage based out of Darwin, but about a third of the potential total would have to be offset overseas which cannot yet be done, while a critic said the amount of emissions that can be abated has been grossly inflated.
