Chief Minister Lia Finocchiaro said she will not be sacking public servants, when asked by the Opposition about how she was going to fund election promises with the $11 billion debt Labor created, and while the bill lowering the age of criminal responsibility passed Parliament, the government said it had not yet seen a report evaluating the impact of raising the age of criminal responsibility.
On Thursday, the third sitting day of the new Parliament, members debated the Criminal Code Amendment Bill, which lowers the age of criminal responsibility from 12 to 10 and will make posting a crime on social media to brag about it a criminal offence.

They promoted their views on stronger crime laws in order to get votes out in communities that have been devastated by criminal behaviour and destructive riots. What did Labor do to deal with the destruction of homes? They promised to build new homes!
