“Other current and former department employees also spoke out about toxic workplace issues in September, which they said were caused by senior executives with little understanding of the technology. One former worker called it a “shitshow”.”
Of the course the executives don’t understand anything technical, they did not get the jobs due to merit or talent! They got it via Nepotism and Cronyism.
Never as a Contractor at NTG, when I was working for high school educated tossers, was I ever invited to fill in the Bullying Survey! Down in NSW, as a external contractor I have been included in Bullying Surveys in one NSW Gov contract and one APS Gov contract!
I again encourage all the NTG external contractors to save their mental sanity and go back to civilization and let the high school educated locals keep hiring their mates and family and they can all finish their fantastic systems themselves.
As a further comment, I am so sorry to hear about the suicides but I am confident that there have been more than the three mentioned in this article.
I heard at a recent legislative accounts inquiry that in 2020 this project was targeted as a “big bang”, all 5 hospitals go live at once, this is a pressure cooker for such a old system with tacked on modules, this is executives creating failure.
Its appears that nothing triggered enquiries into workplace deaths until the media asked very important questions, this is ridiculous, how can any executive brush over those who have died as employees?
People must be held to account, past and present.
1. What are the number of individual independent contractors on ABNs hired on this Northern Territory Government Acacia Digital Patient Record System project and why is this information not reported in the 2024 -2025 Northern Territory State of the Service report of the NT Office of the Commissioner for Public Employment ?
2. Does the hiring of all these individual independent contractors on ABNs hired on this Northern Territory Government project comply with sections 15AA and 357 of the Fair Work Act (Cth) of the Commonwealth Parliament as explained in the multi-factorial approaches in the Fair Work Commission decisions as follows?
[2025] FWC 3069 Matthew Bull v Rmbl Bxng Bondi Pty Ltd (22 October 2025)
and
[2025] FWC 2327 An Applicant v The Trustee For New Hopes Trust (11 August 2025)
3. Are these so called individual independent contractors on ABNs hired on this NT Government project required to pay for their own superannuation and their own workers compensation insurance and if so, why?
4. What are the number of labour hire employees hired on this Northern Territory Government Acacia Digital Patient Record System project hired by external labour hire firms and why is it not reported in the NTPS State of the Service report and why is this information not in the 2024 -2025 Northern Territory State of the Service report of the NT Office of the Commissioner for Public Employment?
5. What are the names of and who are these external labour hire firms operating on this Northern Territory Government Acacia Digital Patient Record System project and why are these external labour hire firms not named in the 2024 -2025 Northern Territory State of the Service report of the NT Office of the Commissioner for Public Employment?
I support the Joyce family as the survivor of a suicide attempt (21-11-2016) driven by bullying & collusion between NTG DCM, NT News & Channel 9 presstitutes whilst employed by 2016-19 NTG ALP CM Gunner AO3 non-exec position. During 2026 I will be sharing my story of sabotage, intimidation, lies, legal manipulation & 2015-25 DWC corruption & cover-ups. Lifeline is a toothless Tigre as the COO is one of Gunners school friends from St.John College, the psyco/social help is not available to NTG non-executives, worst still these predators laugh at suicides and believe they have won, it is a sick game. Why would Webber keep the terms of reference secret as this is tax-payer money? The NTPS system is based on cronyism not professional merit.
International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is held on 22 November annually & globally so I will be working hard within the local Darwin community to organise an inaugural event during 2026 to share our stories of NTG public service toxic workplace culture as we need connection for solutions.
RIP: Shaun Joyce & brave family.
Jane! They chose Webber for a reason!
Nothing will come out of this NT Investigation like every other NTG investigation.
Flee Flee!
