Large “disturbances” in the remote community of Jilkminggan on Monday saw a woman assaulted by up to six unknown offenders and a man tasered by police after he allegedly threatened officers with a claw hammer, NT Police said.
Mataranka police responded to reports of large groups fighting with weapons around 7:30pm, while a 48-year-old male was reportedly driving dangerously throughout the community, the same man who allegedly threatened officers with the claw hammer when police located him.
