Modelling has come out today showing Australia likely won’t hit the target of 82 per cent renewable energy by 2030, SkyNews reported. “There’s modelling out today – shows Australia won’t be able to build and install enough renewable energy generation to meet our target for 2030,” Ms Credlin said. “It’s a big target, 82 per cent of our country’s energy was supposed to go renewables by 2030. “We’ve been sceptical from day one.”

Australia’s first batch of nuclear submariners
The first three future submariners for the Australian Navy have completed initial training to become nuclear power operators as the U.S. ally prepares to stand up a modern submarine force, Stars & Stripes reported. Royal Australian Navy Lt. Cmdr. James Heydon, Lt. Cmdr. Adam Klyne and Lt. William Hall graduated from the U.S. Navy’s prerequisite Nuclear Power Training Unit. Their training falls under the AUKUS pact. AUKUS was established to counter Chinese expansionism in the Western Pacific.

Digital advertising agency Brainlabs has announced its acquisition of Australian independent digital media agency Sparro as part of its global expansion plans, Marketech APAC has reported.
