  1. This is the usual nonsense from those trying to ruin Australia, Check out the PEW charity that seems determined to make sure our oil and gas industry fails. It is an American fossil fuel-funded organisation that should be banned from Australia.

  2. I studied Agriculture for four years, almost all of it designed to shepherd we gullible members of the farming community towards expenditure on various chemicals and machinery.

    It is disheartening to see contemporary graduates are victims of the same manipulation; presuming, of course, graduate opinions were sought.

    A mere 4% of this continent is arable land and it has been almost completely destroyed by mono-cropping, destructive tillage, and worst of all, chemical destruction of the biota, for which the soil relies on for fertility. It was no surprise that Gunner decided to destroy what was left in the NT.

    However, it seems that the 1950s are still with us. A tradition of destruction first installed by Rex Jetner, continues to reign. Oh well, at least we have continuity.

  3. could someone please explain to me how the biggest drain in any given catchment is considered vital to the area but a dam or irrigation is not. holding water back on the main land and utilizing parts of it have sustained progress for thousand of years. when you collectively get your heads out of the sand and start to future proof the environment please let me know and we can have a constructive discussion
