Did you all notice how Maley exercised the old Labor diversionary tact- going after Chauncey!
Is there a Labor/ AlbaneseWong qualification l know not of?
Please read this again-“ Text messages sent following the crash revealed Danby called the victims “dogs”, “oxygen thiefs” and “n***as” and bragged that he got them in a “two for one combo”. In another text he said it was “pretty funny watching them roll around” after hitting them with his car and that they had “learnt their lesson”.
He also said in a text that he had money for a lawyer and wouldn’t be going to jail for the crime, because, “I’m a Danby, we don’t go to jail”.
Independent Member for Mulka Yingiya Guyula told the ABC the sentence “sent a disgraceful and dangerous message”.
“For a judge to provide leniency tells all other drivers that it is okay to kill Aboriginal people on the road,” he said.”!
The question to be asked is- “ Is it OK to not only kill a human but also sprout about it”! Let’s just reflect that the deceased and injured where racially referred too”!
This is murder, failure to stop and render assistance, failure to report and a mindset that sat prepared able to financially engage a lawyer!
I’m interested to see what sentence the guy got for running over a sleeping Australian!
Maley dies not impress me as such his comment positions him, in my mind , as another that should be relieved of duty!
The CLP love boat is a disgrace to all Territorians and Liar, in Japan on the public purse, a purse that currently pays in excess of $1.6M in interest on debt each day, is the vision splendid of abuse!

Great to hear all those rabid “tough on crime” stalwarts coming out to support their definitely not racist, definitely fair and balanced, definitely backed up with heaps of evidence that is easy to find, definitely works to reduce crime position finally, after days and days of………well, silence.

We didn’t know this fact: Jake Danby’s lawyer is working at brother-Maley’s law firm while being close family to Attorney Generally Rubbish Marie-Clare Boothby while other brother-Maley advertises all her fabulous work and achievements.
No public condemnation of Danby’s sickening racist texts then? Too busy spruiking Boothby it seems.

We believe that Gerard Maley is lying too now. It makes absolutely no sense to our household that he didn’t know about this from a long time ago.
We also feel that this story too, like many before it, has got so much more to run. Maley now wading in with his 5 bucks worth. He’ll be needing a ‘crisis manager’ soon if he keeps opening his mouth and saying words.
It’s bit rich/hypocritical though for the ALP to be pretending it was squeaky clean when they ran the show (into the ground) all of a sudden. Our memories are a bit longer than yours Selena.

Territorians have a problem. Our political representatives both ALP and CLP fully aware of failure to account for their ‘sworn’
responsibilities as required and expected?
When Community does comment, generally we focus upon Crime – Youth – Indigenous – Court(s). Surely, every territorian fully aware of each and every one of the four linkages? But not so vocal when it comes to Fifth – Six? Elected Representatives – Legal Fraternity? At many levels of frustration. Why? Without public scrutiny ie transparency – accountability . . . public engagement virtually “disarmed”. Reality allows, even promotes, each of the SIX Community failures? Public scrutiny of Elected Representatives / Legal Fraternity is where prioritization begins? And we territorians have again failed our responsibilities by not actively, publicly, fulfilling “OURS”!
Our governance is S**T.
God help the NT, nothing else will, NTPS human nature no longer serves the community. Money, power, control & greed have made Darwin decadent, Babylon without the glitz, fun & activities.
