With 1,000 additional beds now being put into NT Prisons in the Northern Territory and with a potential new additional 1,000 prisoners in the near future will this now add another $130 million to the NT Government Government Debit?
Are the new proposed refurbishments to NT Prisons going to add another $700 million to the NT Government Government Debit?
Is the NT Government Government Debit scheduled to surpass the $15 Billion amount in the future?
Would love to know how much to shut Chalker up?. A good start to reign in debt would be to sack the heads of departments in DIPL, they are all in the major construction companies pockets.
Within all government departments in the NT l suggest all positions, that currently sit above the “factory floor” should be subject to audit. This will ensure that these positions are filled by persons with the equal level of knowledge, experience and education, such that meets the same standards,as set/ cross referenced, with like positions in Australian states.
Furthermore, identify the ratio of each position per population here in the NT against other states and territories against the .
The CLP have created new departments which in turn has created more high paid executive roles and this fact seems more aligned to a strategy to increase debt rather than reduce debt.
The popcorn box is emptying, the chic cone ice cream is melting watching this CLP in action, passing laws without due process, and scrutiny whilst we wait for some mention of debt reduction strategies! A unicameral parliament Pfft our laws passed are half the process- it’s only the grace of the Federal government that the final tick is given.
