Human remains found in the NT outback have been identified as a man who was last seen in 1999, NT Police said, crediting new forensic techniques with closing the cold case.
The NT Police’s Missing Persons Unit, with assistance from the AFP’s National DNA Program, matched the remains to Owen Ryder, a man who was first reported missing by his wife in 1999.
