The Finocchiaro Government will reintroduce the use of spit hoods on children in police watch houses, Police Commissioner Michael Murphy has said.

Mr Murphy confirmed to AAP that spit hoods will again be used for subduing minors in police watch houses from this week. The use of spit hoods was banned in 2022.
