NT Police are seeking the public’s help to identify the drivers of two vehicles captured on CCTV passing through Timber Creek, in hopes they may have information in connection to the fatal hit-and-run in the area on April 22.

Police have been calling on the driver that hit and killed a 19-year-old man to turn themselves in since last week.

“The victim had been parked on the southern side of the ride and was near his white Nissan Navarra utility when he was struck,” Detective Sergeant Jeshua Kelly said on Wednesday.

The first vehicle is seen passing Timber Creek Hotel at around 1:40am and the second vehicle at 2:37am. A short while later, police received reports that a man had been struck by a vehicle.

The victim was declared dead at the scene and the offending vehicle and driver were unknown.

“Major Crash is urging any motorists travelling or camping along the highway between those times to please contact police to assist with our investigation,” Kelly said.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the police on 131 444 quoting reference number 9987283.
