NT Police are investigating several break-ins around the Darwin CBD overnight Monday, including a jewellery heist on Smith Street.

The first of a series of break-ins occurred at around 11:50 pm Monday night, after a jeweller on Smith Street was smashed into an undetermined amount of jewellery was stolen.

This was followed by another break-in incident on-premises on Knuckey Street at around 12:04 am, causing minor damage.

Shortly after 1:00 am, police again received a report that another property on Cavanagh Street was unlawfully entered with some items pilfered.

“No arrests have been made about these incidents,” Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said.

“Anyone with information, or CCTV footage, concerning any of these incidents is urged to contact police on 131 444. You can also contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Please quote reference 9984507.”

Sgt Bland said Strike Force Trident is still investigating the break-ins.
