Eight homes in Darwin’s northern suburbs were broken into overnight Monday, and a vehicle stolen, NT Police said.
NT government crime marketing manager Sita Bacher said in a statement police were looking for information about the eight break-ins which happened between 10pm Monday night and 4am on Tuesday, in Leanyer, Alawa and Wanguri, with a vehicle stolen from an Alawa home.
She said Strike Force Trident detectives wanted residents in the area to review their CCTV footage for any suspicious behaviour and call police on 131 444. People can also report anything anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Now need the public to do the police job for them. Delayed reporting causes loss of useful information and evidence.
