Police investigating ‘sudden’ death of infant in Katherine

A infant has died suddenly in Katherine, and their death is being investigated, NT Police have said.

Police media manager Rob Cross said police were investigating the sudden unexpected infant death in Katherine early yesterday morning.

“At this stage no further information can be provided,” he said.

“Police are working with the family, investigations are ongoing and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
