Fyles working hard while her policies are hardly working!
This is what happens whe a government is more worried about offending the criminals than defending law abiding citizens.
Condolences to Declan’s family, friends and colleagues.
Fyles has blood on her hands
Once again, we see a law-abiding citizen been murdered or severely harmed under the NT Labor governments supported by the Greens soft approach on criminals that should not be out on the streets to be able to commit these offences. The reason the age was raised by this Labor government for young criminals is so that’s less data that’s recorded so the crime rate appears to be down when clearly to the law-abiding citizen it is not! This goes hand in hand for when they break bale. Every right a law-abiding citizen had has been stripped as their right to be able to protect their family or property has been stripped and given to the criminal element. It shows the elements of the NT Lobor government along with the parties that support them are supporting corruption at the highest level. We have Judges, Magistrate’s, Coroners and of course a commissioner of police and his executives that all fit the corruption bill. If you ever wonder where the so-called do-gooders are that support the criminal activity? They are right in amongst the above mentioned.
I am very sorry to the family that has lost their son and many of others that have lost their loved ones due to the incompetence of our laws. If you do the crime, then you should do the time. on my last I have to say is I’m sick and tired of the law allowing the perpetrator to use the excuse of drugs or alcohol or some form of diminished responsibility as this should be stricken from the court of law.
Thank you. You summed it up pretty well
This murder is a direct result of our failure of a Government’s failed policies.
So tragic that a young life was taken for no reason at all by a savage individual who has given nothing to our society and never will.
My heart goes out to Declan’s family, friends, and workmates.
Will our Government finally do something about the rampant crime in our community or will we hear more empty promises? It certainly doesn’t look good so far given the Government’s response.
This was a massive topic of conversation at my workplace today and every single person said enough is enough. If the police, courts, and government won’t protect us then it us up to the community to protect themselves any way they can.
This does not bode well and it all lays squarely at the feet of our utterly incompetent Government.
Shame, Fyles, shame. This blood is on your hands, on the hands of your equally incompetent predecessor, and on your party as a whole.
Rest in peace, Declan. If anything, I hope your tragic and untimely death will serve as a catalyst for some much needed changes here in the NT. Cold comfort for his family and community, I know.
I hope his murderer rots in prison for the rest of his life! Sadly, I don’t hold much hope given the sorry nature of our courts and judges.
This one really rocked me hard.
My sympathies go out to the whole of the Laverty clan.
