Did Lia realise the size of the problem initially? Chalker went on a similar promotion spree after Zach Rolfe was charged. Time to change the processes for executive appointments.

In relation to Mr Murphy you also need to note that he first started his training as a police officer in 1997. In the eleven years he has gone from Probationary Constable to Constable, Senior Constable, Sergeant, Senior Sergeant to Superintendent. That’s five ranks in this time or an average of about two years at each rank. This includes duties and crime. In reality you need to ask just how much experience can you get in actual policing in this time to the point you fully understand policing issues and those of the staff you now command?
