  1. Car 54 where are you?

    • DO NOT, repeat DO NOT, SORT the Police Fire and Emergency Services Phone Directory by Surname Alphabetically!
      ENTIRE Faaaaaamilies……….

  2. Just the way ‘boof’ likes it, eh? Oh and the Kennon family, the Dole family and the Murphy family…..so far.

You’ve got 27 appointments in only 12 months to look at. No wonder Lying Lia didn’t want to do a thorough investigation of this clusterf**k. Can you imagine what you’d find if you put the whole place under proper scrutiny?

    Here’s your new recruitment slogan:

NT Police: we only employ Most meritorious and best candidATES.

  3. We trust the Hon Justice Blow AO applies the requisite forensic scrutiny during his inquiry into this whole situation.

  4. More… keep hoing… there’s so much more. Will this include all promotions and appointments made by Murphy or just Police?

Don’t stop, please. All appointments, just or not, are now in question. The integrity of the entire Police, Fire and Emergency Service executive is in a complete shambles. Including fruit of the poisoned tree.

  5. Did Lia realise the size of the problem initially? Chalker went on a similar promotion spree after Zach Rolfe was charged. Time to change the processes for executive appointments.

  6. You gotta love a LABOR government!
NOW that same love exists for this ALPCLP Lia Finnochiaro government!
WHY? Well let’s just wait for the inflow of info of jobs for favour/ mates!

  7. Was Martin Dole also on this panel – highly likely I expect.

  8. In relation to Mr Murphy you also need to note that he first started his training as a police officer in 1997. In the eleven years he has gone from Probationary Constable to Constable, Senior Constable, Sergeant, Senior Sergeant to Superintendent. That’s five ranks in this time or an average of about two years at each rank. This includes duties and crime. In reality you need to ask just how much experience can you get in actual policing in this time to the point you fully understand policing issues and those of the staff you now command?
