  1. Well hopefully when the CLP win the election in August they seriously look at this Commissioner appointment with the view of termination.

    • The NTPA do represent the membership unlike Mr Murphy. He should apologise for the appalling executive he has been part of. The bullying, nepotism, promoting friends and those that stick like barnacles to the bosses backside. The covering up of risks due to lack of staffing and the people they are breaking because of all of the above. Oh and an apology for the racial vilification the members of the NT Police are met with day in day out.
Did COP Murphy discuss his apology with SA COP Grant Stevens? Afterall for quite a bit of the period he apologised for, the NT Police did not exist.

      • More chest beating and self deprecation which will change nothing. The anger towards society continues to grow with all the victimhood by people whose existence is dependent on those that provide health, education, housing and welfare payments.

  2. What a childish and political reaction by Murphy. He’s clearly been instructed what to do by his political owners.

He is a disgrace and clearly has no respect for the NT Police force. Utterly shameful.

  3. This bloke is no better than the last fool.

  4. Just another clown who has joined the bureaucratic circus.

  5. Incredibly childish act by the commissioner and will only serve to ostracize himself further from the rank and file. I would hazard a guess though that this is politically motivated by Labor and he was probably under orders from the top.
