Parks Australia will plead guilty to damaging a sacred site at Gunlom Falls in Kakadu National Park during construction work in 2019, the authority has said.

The ABC reported that the Parks Australia national parks director Ricky Archer said in a statement on Wednesday he had told Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority and traditional owners the agency would plead guilty for contravening the Northern Territory Sacred Sites Act.
