One man is still on the run after he broke into two bottle shops with another man in Leanyer, NT Police said.
NT government crime marketing manager Sita Bacher said in a statement police were told of two men breaking into an unspecified bottle shop on Leanyer Drive, Leanyer about 3:45am on Saturday.
The Thirsty Camel bottle shop, which exits onto Barolaba St, is part of Hibuscus Tavern – which includes Dolly’s Bar – and which sit on the corner of Leanyer Drive and Barolaba St.
She said the men stole a large amount of alcohol before breaking into an another unspecified bottle shop along Leanyer Drive, where they stole more alcohol.
There is a BWS bottle shop in the Hibiscus Shopping Centre, which is in the same precinct as the tavern.
Ms Bacher said one of the men was arrested after a CCTV operator tracked his movements but police do not know who the other man is or where he is.
Police are asking for anyone with information about the break-ins to call them on 131 444, or to report anonymously to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Must be some sort of ban that Fyles can dream up for that. None of the other ones have worked so far. The bottle shop had less peoe at the register than the line waiting for the PALI to check everyone’s last alcohol purchase. We were all told that no information would be collected by the BDR but somehow the police system knows where you were and how much you spent.
