  1. The NT government needs to do what is best for the cost of living. There are more worthwhile projects that need attention. Some states have hydro to provide power. The percentages quoted are not necessarily the average. Victoria is in need of imported gas. South Australia draws from the national grid to supplement it’s power and often carries out load shedding to keep the lights on in major towns and cities. They also have plenty of gas fired power stations in the mix. We don’t have an energy grid that extends beyond our borders, so we must be self sufficient.

  2. Whilst I recognize Phil’s set of priorities. I believe that Climate THREAT (not CHANGE) no longer imminent but immediate! For our Territory to stand aside and rank last in Australia due to CLP “abandoning renewable energy production” . . . simply unacceptable. Lacks responsibilities. And certainly impacts both present and future GENERATIONS globally.
