An investigation has been launched into a workplace incident that occurred on Friday, resulting in the death of a 62-year-old man, NT Police said.
The incident took place at an unnamed cattle station located approximately 150 km south of Katherine, police said in a statement, where the man suffered fatal injuries while on the job.
Police said that emergency services were called to the scene on June 5, but unfortunately, the man was pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigations are still underway, with the Northern Investigation Unit leading the case. Both NT WorkSafe and the Coroner’s Office have been informed.
