The NT Government awarded 19 tenders in the past week to a total value of $4.8 million, including $77,000 for a study on low emission manufacturing in the NT, and $1.5 million to DTA Contractors to fix footpath erosion at Little Mindil Beach.
Another interesting contract was a select tender worth $33,880 to Cavs Mowing and Treelopping for the ‘demolition of large trees’ in the Jilkminggan community, on the Roper River east of Mataranka.
In total, 18 tenders worth $4.7 million went to NT-based businesses, and one tender worth $77,000 went to non-local enterprises.
